The brick color and overall size and plan looks like the house I grew up in on Linnview Avenue.  The windows and roof are wrong, though. I would look along Linnview, on the south side of the street, for a house built 1900-1920.

Thanks for the information.  Many houses look similar but have changes made by the original owner when built.  For years a photo at the Carrick Library had the home that isn't there anymore at the Brentwood bus turnaround at Owendale Avenue as the house on Woodward and Brownsville Road.  A closer examination showed, like your observations, that although very similar the windows and the roof didn't match.  Would the owner have changed these to be different? Yes, but just enough to look similar.

Thanks for the information. Many houses look similar but have changes made by the original owner when built.
