Le enfant was sculpted by Roger Blocke in 1899 and won second prize at a Paris Art Show in the first part of the 20th Century - 1900s. It was first located on the Mother's Walk in Phillips Park. It is now located at the intersection of Overbrook Boulevard and Ravilla Street.
