Pittsburgh Carrick Marching Band wins 5th straight Veteran’s Day Parade

Pittsburgh Carrick High School Marching Band won its 5th straight “Best Overall Performance of a City High School Band” award for the Veteran’s Day Parade held on November 11th in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The band, under the direction of Mrs. Sarah Giliberto, is proud to accept the the award from the Federation of War Veterans’ Societies. “Its our pleasure to march in this particular parade year after year. Our military has done so much for us, the least we can do is spend one day to honor them,” Mrs. Giliberto said. The band will be presented with their trophy at the award presentation ceremony on Sunday November 21st at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.
