Early land owner in Fairhaven along Saw Mill Run. Provost Road is named after him. See Phillips Properties. Daughter Ann Poullen Provost Provost, Ann Poullen married James Phillips the father of John M. Phillips, Watson P. Phillips and Robert F. Phillips of Carrick.
